Yeah I'm sure it was just a false positive. Either way, allowing the zip let me complete the download that failed 5 times before I made the change.

You're going to need someone with you to help out. This is too complex to be done over a forum I believe. Any kid nowadays can handle this quickly.

Well, this thread is 238 pages long and I've spend about 30 minutes on it and haven't even made a dent.

Can anyone please enlighten me on how well this reflash works with manual transmission trucks? Most of what I have read is with regard to the automatics.

    Thanks in advance!

400 minutes in the truck; 250 miles later post 1.01b flash

I still am giddy when driving the truck for it's smoothness overall and ease of power off the line zipping in and out of traffic without feeling like I need to WOT every time to make a move. Throttle is predictable now that I'm unlearning the mushy throttle control pre-flash. ...especially this week driving in the city where it used to be miserable. Sure I have to do some S-mode at times w/ the transmission weirdness, but help is coming there.

Yeah...took the truck for a mixed drive today with highway and city mix and man...it's just so much more pleasant to drive. It's amazing how much different it makes the truck feel in those different scenarios. As far as I can tell it's had enough time to learn to the point the shifting is back to normal but it's still WAYYYY way better than it was. Yeah it puts you in 6th at 40 mph, but the slightest tip of the throttle and now you're back in a lower gear. No more rubber band feeling with that damned throttle.

Yes I read it. I was looking for more first hand experience. 15-20 ft lbs of torque increase is great but I would be interested in hearing from someone who has a manual, who drives it everyday, mention what they think of the refresh. Bro.

Here's the most recent review I've seen from a manual owner, couple pages back.

No need to be snarky man. If you would have just read some of the thread you would've known that.

Not sure how me saying "thanks" for someone sharing what I was looking for is snarky. But let's not fill up this thread with drama.

Something about flooring it in second gear from RPMS @ around 3000 in ECT PWR mode and gets me going... and then not upshifting and hearing the light little pops from the spec-u exhaust, its lovely.

Got my file last night but the time zones weren't cooperating. Going to install it when I get to the shop in a little bit. Will post up my thought on 6MT, also I am towing my 2500 lb travel trailer this weekend so I will provide my thoughts on that as well.

Thanks for the quick turnaround @OVTune
