So I have replaced my right rear tail light bulb once already and now they are both out again!

I stopped and picked up the Sylvania LED version and tried it with one bulb in, now I have no tail lights on either side?? I found the tail light fuse by OBD port (7.5amp) and it tests good with ohm meter. Is there another fuse somewhere by the battery that I need to check? I still have head lights and brake lights.

Try pulling the bulb out and flipping it around, LEDs are diodes, which means electricity moves only one direction through them. You had a 50/50 shot at putting it in the correct way and lost.

I took the LED bulb out when I lost other lights. I have since returned them and they are all halogens again. I still have no tail lights??

If you still have no lights, you blew a fuse somewhere else. Or your headlights are off :p

Read the manual. It tells you which devices are tied to which fuses. Very helpful book supplied with every new vehicle.

There must be another fuse that's blown somewhere, may be worth checking them all regardless of what they are named.
    Good luck

I went through all of the fuses and I must have checked the wrong one. I replaced it and the taillights work great!

On a side note my blind spot monitoring system was giving me fault notifications with the fuse blown, I will check to see if they go away now.
