Okay guys, as I update this you can see that the biggest number of orders are coming from California and Texas.

I am trying to get a quote for Texas. For California, I want to say that the cost is final since it is going to Danville. I will update this once I am sure. If there is another place you want it to go to let me know. Shipping will probably be on your dime though.

Texas, we still don't know the cost to ship to us. I will report when I find out.

For the rest of the guys on the list. Unfortunately you guys are really spread out. If someone wants to volunteer a member and place that residing members are okay to drive to, Ill have to leave it up to you. The other option is figure out how much shipping will be from either California or Texas. If this is a deal breaker for you guys I understand. It should go without saying that this was never my intent. This is my first time being involved with shipping of items this big, and numbers this big.

If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.

Ive seen shipping rates for most RTT vendors around $150-$200. So that those spread out people know what to expect..

For some of you guys coming in, unfortunately the ship has sailed. We have enough backlog of people that even if people cancel we can keep this moving.

If this goes well, I will definitely be doing a round 2. I will reach out to every one who did not get a chance to order and put them on a priority list.

Well I'm still willing to drive. Raleigh is a stretch but not out of the question. I could pick up one for @Jibbs (Cincinnati) if he wants to then meet me in PA. Just spitballing, I'm ok with shipping in the $150 range. A lot depends on our final pricing.

    Thanks @Mrguitarguy01 and @Trijicon123

    Update:
California: As long as you're cool with driving to Danville, the price you pay is final. Right now we are thinking it is going to be in the ~$500.

Texas: We have a decision to make. It can go to California, and we can get a quote to ship it to Austin/Houston. Or, we can pay an extra set of #3 & 7 and get it direct to Houston, where we can all split that charge, and then we can pay myself and Texoma for bringing it to Austin, or we can all drive to Houston to get it.

3 Cargo Forwarder Fee $275 $55 $27.5 an vary depending on the order size, but not by much. The forwarder is the person that tracks packages and ensure it is off loaded at the correct port.

7 Warehouse Storage and Release Fee $150 $30 $15.0 Fixed cost. I hate this fee, the warehouse charges to off load the packages, store, and release.

We will be contacting customs to make sure.

    Thoughts?

I'd be willingly to be a shipping hub for East Coast orders. The Mobtown shop has a fork lift so it would be easy for me to accept a large freight shipment.

I think raleigh would be good since there are three members in nc on the list and one in atlanta and two in alabama!! But we would have to see what the member from raleigh says.

Edit: mobtown is a great choice too!!!

I'm a little cash poor at the moment, but I'm interested. I will say that I have a 6' x 12' trailer that I can fit quite a bit of tents on. I'm more than willing to drive from Tampa, Florida to meet members out to Alabama and Georgia area. That's just a day trip. Maybe we can work something out so I can afford this.
