I've got leather seats from a Subaru Crosstrek, super comfortable, but I need to redo the brackets because it sits about an inch and a half higher than stock, not great for getting in and out, awesome on the trail for vision. I gotta do something about the fact they don't flip forward too, can't access the back very well. Figured I'd have to do some cutting on the stops, should be easy enough except Subaru seats are made or fucking Czech steel or something, my brother who's a firefighter said they're the toughest seats to hack through, guess that's a good thing IMG_0751.jpg

Why don't all these seats flip forward? is it because its from a car and they dont need to "flip forward for rear access" I use my rear cab too much to not have that access available to me. I have been looking at seats as the next comfort mod but cost and accessibility and customizing is always the concern. but they do look damn comfortable, looks good

Yes, they don't flip forward because they're from a 4 door car, so no real need.

Your options get limited or very pricey if you are limited to looking for seats from a coupe.

I do recommend testing out the seats you want, the other issue is these seats are very tall at the shoulder area.

My dog used to love to put her head out the window from the bench I made her in the back area, and she can't now, kinda sucks.

I have seats out of a RSX that work pretty well. They flip forward since the RSX is a coupe. Mounting them was not easy, but the easiest way would be to cut your stock rails off and graft them onto the new seats.

NICE!! how did you mount yours? just swap over seat rails? Everything still work as factory? The RSX seats have any lumbar or height adjustments? RSX seats could be easier to get ahold of too. get some pics posted!!!

These are from my build thread.
I mounted them the hard way by cutting and bending the RSX rail feet. I got halfway into it and wished that I had just swapped the rails.
They driver seat has lumbar and heigh adjustment. They sit higher than stock so I never use the height adjustment. I am also 5' 4" and it definitely pushed me up higher. If you are closer to 6ft your head would be at the ceiling. It also has an airbag but that's not hooked up.

Haha everyone points that out! It doesn't look like that anymore. I replaced the door panels with 01-04 ones.

Pretty sure this is a first. 4 bulbs, all remote controlled with varying transition settings or I can set one color for all.

really easy actually all you need to do is unbolt the panel under the steering wheel and go from there takes about 5 minutes to take it all apart

Easy to get. Lotsss of variance. Comes with one of those full color option remotes along with brightness settings. Took a little finagling and the right side didn't want to work, took some trial and error and it works now.

The only downside so far is that the constantly changing color mode is a little quick for my liking and you have to mess with it a little to get the color you want without it strobing. Not much, but enough that it's worth mentioning.

I love the variety of colors since I get bored a few times a day.
