Towing Package?

Where do I determine if our Toyota Tacoma 2013 TRD Sport has a towing package? We were told it had it when we bought it and now I am questioning if we do. It's a V6 4wd.

Aux trans cooler in front of the condenser, factory tow hitch, factory tow wiring are all good hints easy to spot.

 

Ah. We definitely don't have it. Thanks, Bill! We bought the truck for the sole purpose of towing a boat a couple years later - will now have to be cognizant of the size of boat now.....

 

If its truly a "Sport", I thought it had the tow package by definition. Check if you have Bilstein shocks.

 

That was my thought as well with the Sport! Maybe the sales guy didn't know either....I'll check the shocks too. Thanks guys!

so do you have it or dont you? your second post said you dont have the transcooler. that would tell me you dont have the towing package. check those things before trusting a piece of paper.

 

As well as the trans cooler, look for the engine oil cooler. Here's a pic of it.
