The same shit everyone else has.
I did a '14 touchscreen radio in my '11. It currently has the back up camera in the rear view mirror and I plan on leaving the camera there.

I would like to add a camera(s) to the '14 touch screen head unit.

Ive got the rear camera to head unit sorted out I believe, but I would would like to go a step further and add a front camera.

I want to be able to control both cameras anytime - for trail/parking purposes - but still have the rear camera come on as the default any time the truck is in reverse.

Iv found a DIY on how to accomplish this with 2 switches -

    - anytime switch & a front/rear switch, but I really dont want to add 2 switches if I can control this with a single switch.

I believe this diagram does what I want -

    Im not seeing it though?

I did some thinking and came up with this...

To me this makes sense. Controls the front and rear camera with a switch, and the rear camera turns on automatically when in reverse. Diodes keep the current from back tracking.

    Bueller?

Im kickin around the idea of adding a parking/proximity sensor to the front bumper and somehow incorporating it into the front camera to turn it on when the front bumper is within X"/X' of something.....

If I can find parking sensors that work how I want.

I just installed mine but I did it a little differently. I used a wireless transmitter/receiver setup. Nice to have front view now.
