This should make the wound a bit saltier. My wife's Prius has the keyless handles on BOTH front doors as well as the back hatch :D

It can be changed in the head unit. Customization I believe.

If the passenger door opening is too difficult to operate, then one flick of the tailgate handle and it'll drop down smooth for your lady.

1st world problems here. Honestly I do see where your coming from though, most other vehicles that have this feature have it on most door handles especially the front passenger

This is the best thread on the 3rd Gen forums in some time. Reminds me of how it used to be here a couple years ago.

Another problem I see is the fact you have to walk to the truck to drive it. They really should make it so the truck comes to you whenever you want to drive it. Totally ridiculous. What are we a 3rd world country?

I have the utility package on my '16 AC and don't have keyless entry so if I need to grab something out of the passenger side and it's locked, I have to first unlock the driver side. It is a serious pain in the ass. I use my truck as a work truck and having to always go the driver side first may not seem like much of an issue but it is. I'm in an out of my truck sometimes 30 or 40 times a day. Not putting a keyed lock on the passenger side has got to be the stupidest thing a vehicle manufacturer could do. In the grand scheme of things, how much money is this saving Toyota, a dollar or two?

Unfortunately that is the process that is followed, a couple bucks here and there multiplied by all the vehicles they make adds up.
