Anybody set up a dual battery in the engine bay? I'd so I need some ideas on placement! Any other creative spots are welcome too. Thanks in advance!

Got a lot of stuff lol
I like the idea except for a boat ramp.

I see quite a few people put theirs in thier bed. It really depends on what you want to use it for. ( mainly winching )

You know, I honestly didn't consider that when building it! That could be one of the only downsides to it if you find yourself launching a boat every so often. I personally don't own a boat so that isn't a problem for me, but it seems like if you lifted up the rear end of the truck w/ an aal or some dakars it might not be a problem.. Then again im not too familiar with how far you have to back your truck in whenever youre launching. Other than that, its worked great for my uses and I just routed all the wiring up through the bedside cubby to a central circuit board in the back of my truck

Yeah its a really cool idea I also like when people add stuff inside the bedsides. Using that unused space. But hey if you want to go fishing just dip you truck in lol

I have an offgrid engineering side by side kit and I love it. It's a tight squeeze but it'll fit in there

That's a pretty slick setup with that OGE dual. I have a large 105ah battery that wouldn't fit. What do you have running off your dual setup? Winch? Fridge?

Planning on installing a fridge on it when funds permit but right now I have my switch-pro with all my accessory lights and power ports hooked up to it. It's not installed in the picture but I have it all hooked up to the aux battery. Winch is connected to the main battery but it's not connected in the photo either. OGE uses all blue sea marine grade components and it works flawlessly. I couldn't be happier with it
