Careful now, this is the 3rd gen section...that's not the narrative some folks around here like to see.

Anything over the 1/2 mark makes me very uncomfortable, not a fan of high temperature operation. I'm guessing you have a 2.7L and M/T based on your mileage??

I've never seen mine go that high, (I/m guessing its north of 220* for you) or anything past the half mark and I operate at 113* ambient or "feel like" at times in summer.
I'm thinking that air flow blockage caused by the vehicles in front of you at drive thru could act as a wall, your fan clutch may not be performing to spiff, debris or bugs on radiator blocking air flow or a thermostat issue, I have seen those go intermittent too. And\or if you recently flushed the coolant could be air trapped?

It's crazy how hot it is. Yesterday it hit 108 right now 103. Just going outside for anything makes me break out in sweat.
