Decided to do the dealer... called back and talked with another service writer and she said it would be just under $500 dollars before tax. Apparently he quoted me the price for just parts... Back to me doing it.

All done. Overall pretty easy. Took my 2 hours from the time I drug my tools out to getting done adjusting the pedal. I can't explain how much better the clutch feels. Its truly a night and day difference. It never felt this good before! Nice smooth pedal and engagement. I do not care for how it let's out at the top more than it did but it was a fine line between adjusted properly for the throwout bearing and being adjusted to let out closer to the floor. The new master cylinder is way more beefy than the old one and is made out of metal. The original was plastic. My fluid looked like used motor oil in the reservoir and the first 5 or 6 bleeds looked like a chocolate milkshake! Glad that's over! 20170904_081733.jpg
