    Was woking in the hospital close to 2yrs, now i am unemployed.

    I have a Aviation background have my A&P, but no current experience.
    Dont want to do the contractor life and move from job to job.
    Will move anywhere in the world for a long term job.
    Havent use my A&P since 2008 when i worked on biz jets.
    Worked manufacturing on the 787 program. 2008 - 2012

    Now im looking for work in aviation again.... Would love to use my education i spent so much money and time into.

    Good luck in your search! Always worth a check to see if Boeing has anything going on at the 737 plant in Renton, WA. Not too bad as far a cost of living goes for western Washington either.

    yeah man it sounds like you would be a great fit at Boeing. I just got moved from Everett to Renton, there are more job openings than people think. Just go online to Boeing Careers and apply for as many jobs as you can. You'll probably get an interview.

    Check the job postings for Boeing (as mentioned above) and Lockheed. They have positions all over the place.

    Consider a different field? The trucking industry is in desperate need. Look into LTL company like XPO Logistics Freight, Saia, YRC, UPS Freight, Fedex Freight & Holland, many others.

    With several of the companies above, you're home every day, night or weekend. Some you'll be out as long as you want. Or run city stuff paid hourly and work 10hrs and home. $50k a year starting out. Most start around $20. Top out around $25 - 28 after a few years.

    Been furloughed for a week now, due to CEO on medical leave with no time to train me. Applied to a local power company jobs. Friend in aviation industry asked if i was done with aviation. I said no, there are not any long term jobs for me. According to my lack of aviation experience. All i want is a long term job.... Im turning 40 in december...

    Did UPS evening for couple months ended up getting hurt. And just left. Thinking about getting FAA UAV for commercial drone stuff. but ya know how studying goes.. Also thought about studying for Sterile processing, like i did when i worked in hospital.... Meh.
