He was an outsider, against the establishment of do-nothing politicians and corporate interests.
He has become a do-nothing politician with corporate interests. Instead of "draining the swamp", he has expanded said swamp while playing golf and expanding his business interests.
His voters were bamboozled. Unless you make $300k+ a year, which, based on the xenophobic nature of his campaign, not many of his voters do.
I understand that all media is biased, but facts are not, facts do not care about your opinion. The fact is that he has not stood behind any of his campaign promises thus far, he is a narcissistic entertainer and we as a country are bored.

She was a corporate shill trying to be hip with the youth and win because she's a woman. She's a good politician with horrible policies and special interests out the wazoo.

The third left wing liberal Stalinist socialist commy, was honestly the most level headed politician of all.
But since this country is run by special interests (GD lobbyist convention in Washington DC) and most of the 50s and 60s generation have been indoctrinated to hate them red lovin commies, he didn't have a chance.

I understand that full out socialist policies for a capitalistic society don't always work out, however, Franklin D. Roosevelt would have never been able to pull this country out of the largest recession in history without becoming a full blown socialist.

Also, taking away money from the National Parks Service sucks for those who love the outdoors. Reducing FEMA funding in a country with tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, wild fires and earthquakes, is a bad call.

Nah, I'll let someone else report but you can clearly tell there are a few newer members here. You can't flagrantly talk politics on TW. At some point this will be locked down and many will get a ban. Trust me, this happens every year, some shit show news event hits the airwaves and suddenly people just fire off for a bit on TW until the mods swoop in and ban them all. It's just how things are. I mean sure there is the off chance that this thread walks the line and gets back on stable, non political, ground at some point before that happens. I just wouldn't count on it with all the posters who are ignoring the COC.
