Air intake whistle

At certain rpms and loads I hear a subtle whistle. It is not a shrieking sound and not very loud. I think it is the rushing air intake. Anyone notice this and is there a fix.

 

It may be the holes in your control arms acting like a flute. Put some tape over them and see if it goes away.

 

I did a search and found exactly what you are describing.

 

It's to compliment the howling rear diff, rattling dash and door panels, chirping fuel pump ,creaking leafsprings, and kazoo weather stripping. Did i leave anything out guys? It's the Tacoma Jug Band!

And what, pry tell, did you find..? Loose hose clamps on the intake...??

 

I do not think it is the arms, not speed dependant. It happens at a certain time when feathering the throttle from load to no load. If had to guess it happens when the valve timing shifts to atkins cycle.
