I've been very pleased with mine! When I bought it I was nervous about painting it myself so I had a family friends paint/body shop paint it for me. I'm glad I went this route and have got a lot of compliments on it!

Trying to imagine your truck with a black front bumper... might be a little too much black, eh?

For my taste I would say so but its your truck! It is your decision but it would look good either way

how does that attach to the grille?
is the original grille cut out or is it still behind the billet grille?

I did mine myself. i ordered the mesh from @HomerTaco. I painted it the first time but it only lasted a couple years it got chipped from rocks or bugs on the highway. I redid it with spray bedliner it still chips but its super easy to fix

I took the easy way out it bolts over existing grill. I added window screen behind it.20170716_114439.jpg

it was already installed when I acquired the truck but I just had a looked behind there and it appears that it is made to order, just order up what ever year you want and it comes all premade to fit right in and bolt up. I dont much care for it myself but its what I have so it will have to do until I can afford something else.

well, something has to happen sooner or later, I'll either paint it or give up $650 to the body shop to have them do it or maybe even a custom bumper... the scuff just wont do.

If you have the skills and the tools to do it yourself, you'd save quite a bit of money. Make sure to do it a dust-free environment though ;)

thats why I thought just spray it with bed liner which is pretty forgiving and would match my black custom powder coated rear bumper.

@bluezzy Just an update, I pulled off my grill and painted it with satin black wheel paint. I think it's a definite improvement.

What type of grille is that? It's different from others I've seen. I really like it, looks good!

Is it the eBay grille in the first post?
