This isn't the goal or end game. We're still justctrying to get used to all this before we start venturing out into the woods on our own hopefully next year.,I'm going to have to make some electrical changes here before we can like add an additional batterie and solar panel

Finally beautiful weather today so we went and toured colonial Williamsburg. Incredibly there are 88 remaining original buildings. If any of you are history buffs and have never been to Va this is an extremely history rich state.

When my wife and I got married my parents gave us a trip to Great Britain as a wedding gift/honeymoon. A lot of royal places like the Tower of London and Windsor Castle had weaponry as decorations on the walls. That same theme is what impressed me the most about the Governor's Mansion.

Trip 2: Williamsburg, Va. the Anvil campground
I posted some pics as we went, but here will do them all. We had a great trip except for the rain in the beginning. Setting up in the rain kinda sucked but I kept a positive outlook on the whole thing and approached it as a good test of our euipment. Once set up I had the awning off the back and put the eazy up rt next to it so between the 2 plus the camper itself we had a nice dry area. Both the awning and the eazy up worked great, granted the awning is designed as more of a sun shade it leaked only a few drops on us and considering the amount of rain we recieved I was very pleased. All the euipment performed well including the new Lodge cast iron griddle and dutch oven I got Christie for her birthday. She made a delicious peach cobler in the dutch Saturday night.
It was rainy and dreary Saturday so we did some shopping, however, Sunday was beautiful so we did colonial Williamsburg.
The campground was very nice we only had 2 complaints, A. the campping spots were tight together, and B. there was a train track rt next to it and the train ran several times a day and night. All-in-all it was wonderful the campground was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We're already talking about another trip maybe this time to the beach!

On to pics most you've already seen:

No, we got back and forgot to get the lights and bed supports out of the Acura, before I dropped it off at the shop for repairs. Needs the timing belt, probably do the water pump if its where you have to pull half the car apart again to replace it late if it leaks. Plus I think a front wheel bearing is shot. Started making a horrible grinding sound on the way home.

@Casper66 Didn't see it in the thread but how was working with Road Trip Camping? Able to haggle at all?

Thinking about pulling the trigger on my own Tiger Moth. They have the offroad in stock.

Warren at Road trip is great to deal with. He haggled a little bit the one we got was a leftover 2016 and already marked down about 1/3 of the original price. They're great to deal with and help anyway they can

Thanks for the info. If I can convince the SO, I'm running over there on Saturday. I was sold on a Blue Ridge Expeditions BRX1, but this has 90% of the features I want at almost 1/2 the price.
