IMG_1472.jpg IMG_1471.jpg IMG_1473.jpg IMG_1474.jpg Was shopping in PC, Utah and spotted a JK Wrangler with some 35/12.5/17 BFG KM3's in the parking lot. Got some pics. I'm not as crazy about them after seeing them in person. Probably because now I've seen them. They are really nice looking. I guarantee they improved the sidewall strength and they will say they are quieter because of the improved tread. I think when they come out I will swap to those from my Ko2's. Sorry for the potato quality pics, but enjoy!

The KM3 should be released by next year. I work for a Michelin/BFG direct dealer but currently there is no release date per our local rep. I also plan on swapping my KO2's for these when they release.

Wait, I'm confused, how does someone already have these if they haven't been released?

They've been out for at least a year now but I'm sure they have some hookup for testing and trial purposes.

Probably testing for sure. I tried my best to get a set when I bought my new rims and was told I couldn't get them yet.

Nice looking tire. It will definitely fit in better with the Ko2

Meh, I like my KM2's being pretty unassuming when it comes to that extra tread on the edge of the sidewall. Doesn't scream 'HEY LOOK AT MY AGGRESSIVE TIRES BRO' as much as these.

I'm curious how the noise, tread wear and on road performance w/ rain will be.
My whole issue with running muds given my truck is my daily as well is the noise and usual terrible hydroplane tendencies of mud terrains

Kind of hard to tell from pics, but doesn't look like very much siping in the tire which probably means it will not perform as good in wet weather

Yeah there is no siping other than the middle tread blocks, but those are basically cut in half, not really like real siping. I'm sure if you have 4 wheel drive you should be fine in the snow with these. All tires suck on ice. These should be great off-road though.
