    It's about a half hour from where I'm currently at. However, the site says they are temporarily closed while the pipeline is going through. Perhaps it'll be open in the spring. Happy birthday, welcome to the 30's club!

    Gotta agree, huge impact damage, and no skid marks. Even ABS will leave light marks. Hopefully no serious injuries or fatalities, but distracted driving around here is off the charts. Most likely primary cause amymore.

    While you're here, explore the park: go mountain biking or hiking on 22 miles of trails. Enjoy the Fall Festival and 5k night run on Saturday or just enjoy the beauty of the rolling meadows, riverside access and spectacular views.

    Ground tents and off-road trailers are welcome. RVs and campers are not permitted at this event.

    James River State Park, Amphitheater Field.

    Early registration: $20 per camping unit.
    Registration at the event: $40
