I mean to be fair we already saw that with the first dyno, 30ish horsepower from a tune is the tits. Honestly the only reason i havent bought it yet is because i want to trade my AT for an MT in the next year. BUT it would still be nice to get some factual results from a low end RPM driving tune

in his earlier posts he has said that he will be messing with valve timing on his 1.02 tune. However we have yet to hear from OVTune today about exact expectations.

OP has stated there is no "off" for AC as it isn't really a "mode" that can be turned on and off. It is constantly shifting between otto and ac.... That said, I certainly don't feel that puny AC feeling with 1.01. Biggest challenge I have remaining is the early upshifts that can make it feel lugging at times. difference is your FOOT actually does something w/ 1.01 so I can predictably get it to downshift when I want to without feeling like my transmission is going to fall out when it slams into gear...

I know the Atkinson is the hp killer. The Camry that put out 300 hp is regular vvt isn't it. I don't think we can get close to that without remapping the entire valve timing. I just thought we would have seen more tuning before now. Glad this one is progressing quickly. Next question is, for states that have emissions testing, how far can they push this 3.5 and stay in legal limits. My area has no emissions testing. Yet.

I have been itching to buy a rear steel bumper. I think I will hold onto that money and see where this most recent data goes.

I'm trying to run mine for the first time now. I'm getting whenever I try to run the guardant software setup.exe, I get a "Dongle with specified search conditions not found" error message. But the dongle was plugged in, the little led was lit up. Any thoughts on what's going on?

I had to use a splitter. For some reason.

I can say that my truck has had its powerful moments of surprise. It does not always fall flat. The CAI and exhaust have been some help as well. Just not consistent power which is frustrating as crap.

So you didn't plug the dongle directly into the pc?

If it's working through the splitter only it's probably a power issue. USB power not right at Port but splitter delivering it properly. USB port 3.0 maybe and splitter 2.0?

Tried the splitter, no work. Thanks for the help. What happened to loading a tune with hand-held devices? So much easier.
