100 miles north of north bay.

Temiskaming shores, right on the Quebec border.

Further north down the border, Thorne is north east of North bay, whereas I am straight north from north bay. Near Notre-Dame Du Nord

I love it up here although might be in Ottawa area in a couple years since the girl is going to finish school there.

Anyways I don't want to clutter the thread. Thanks for the welcomes

Got it! It is alright to clutter the thread lol it needs a little life!

I worked at Temiscaming a few years ago. Spent maybe 2 cumulated weeks there, once for Hydro Quebec and the last time it was right on the bridge between Thorne and Temis, with the team of the gas pipeline. Beautiful place and really great for small game hunting :p

There's no such thing as cluttering a thread here on TW hahaha every thread ends up with some BS in it. These style threads are more or less for BS. when you get into a specific thread that someone posts asking for help/advice well then that's another story haha

I have to admit those tents are awesome! I do seem some here and there on top of some vehicles (cars, jeep cherokee, FJ's) makes me want to grab one, but I don't camp enough and I have a really good ground tent. But if I do win the lottery, i'll get a few haha

Like wise as I have a solid ground tent from LL BEAN. Thing is lifetime warrantied! But when it comes to going off the grid every inch of your storage in your truck matters. RTT's actaully create room for more useful things like a cooler specifically for Labatt Blue and Molsons ... just sayin

I do agree RTTs are freeing space! And I would love to stop sleeping on the ground. For now I hot cots, which completely change my camping experience. Will follow this way for a while.

Also, where are you getting your Labatt Bleue? I thought it was Quebec only... you should try Molson Canadian. Love it !

If anyone is near the Woodstock/Kitchener area, there's a BS session at the Mister Steaks in Drumbo (just off the 401) Sunday December 10th at 7:30pm.
I won't be at this one, but there should be a couple of x-sontt guys there. Anyone interested can also check us out at http://www.truenorthtoyotatrucks.ca/forums/
A few of us got together and started up this site after the death of sontt
