Truck Camping Photo Thread

Carrizo Plain National Monument ... 90 degrees at 7 a.m. on September 1, 2017 ... First time out with my brother's new rig ... a 1984 M1010 Chevy CUCV ... performed very well for a 33-year -old truck. Thing is going to look amazing once we get it painted tan. Bonus ... several trips to Carrizo but this was my first time spotting 3 Pronghorn Antelope ... amazing to see but couldn't get Cannon up in time.

I can't handle tent camping anymore so i bought myself a new Casita.

 

Camping with the fam at Lake Hemet. Water level was a lot lower on he lake but that gave us the opportunity to drive in mud!

Did you try hammock camping?

 

No, but i do love my hammocks. My Casita has all the luxuries of a big camper just in a smaller lightweight package. As i'm getting older I needed AC, comfortable bed and a bathroom with a shower.

 

I can't argue that! Someday for me....someday.

 

I don't even use my Casita anymore, just sits in my driveway under the carport. I bought a secluded cabin in the mountains of WV.

Thanks. I had a little TW meet there couple months ago with some local members. We did some shooting, grilling, drinking & BS'ing around a fire, atv'ing & wheeling.

 

Camping in a field near the Agate Fossil Beds in NW Nebraska for the Solar Eclipse a few weeks ago with the kids.

 

Already unhooked from the truck, but it was here, Craters of the Moon National Monument
