Has anyone done analysis on Toyota's 75W-85 LT gear oil?

I would enjoy reading the results.

It may be on BITOG, but I can't seem to register on that site and thus cannot use the search function. A referral to the page would be appreciated.

Please note that I'm not after suggestions to use alternative products, nor do I need to be told to not worry about it. A general discussion of gear oils is not sought.

I was at the dealer and did a financial analysis of the Toyota gear oil. There must be gold in it since they wanted $35 a quart.:)

I have a UOA (NOT VOA) on the stock stuff that came in the vehicle from the factory - Would that suffice? Of course, there is no guarantee that it is the exact same TOYOTA LT 75W-85 that you get at the dealer - it could be another contractor that supplied what was used as factory fill. I do recall it testing as a 75W-85 weight, though.

Yes indeed. I would be interested in seeing how it held up.

If you would share that info, it would be most generous of you.
