We have a thread in the Colorado section where everyone contributes their most recent trip reports, thought it would be cool to have something similar in here that covers all the other areas/regions of the country.

I'll start with our recent "scenic wheeling" trip out in the San Juan mountains here in Colorado. We spent Labor Day weekend exploring the trails in the Ouray/Silverton/Telluride area, nothing hard, but some of the best scenery the country has to offer (in my opinion of course).

We ran the entire Alpine Loop trail, which connects Ouray, Lake City, Animas Forks and Silverton with 63 miles of trails and crosses two mountain passes (Engineer Pass and Cinnamon Pass) over 12,000 feet in elevation. We also ran Imogene Pass that connects Ouray and Telluride and is my favorite trail in the area, the scenery is unbeatable and its a fun trail. The last trail we ran was Ophir Pass from Telluride back to Ouray.

Nothing too exciting, but heres some pics from the trails, mainly just shots of our Tacoma with nice scenery behind it lol...

Favorite view spot on Imogene Pass so I took a few photos here lol...

The infamous Black Bear Pass in the distance, we've run it before but not this weekend, its always PACKED on holiday weekends...

Here's a video my buddy in the Jeep made that shows some more of the trip, just day one though, he's still working on day two...

If you've been on any recent trips or have a trip coming up add it here, would be cool to have one thread to see peoples outings from all over!!
