You'll get tired of that drive on I-85. Don't do it.

 

The thing is that my other option is to continue my 2.5 hour each way, 40 mile drive in LA.

 

Orlando is about the same. I used to have to go there monthly from Daytona. 60 miles in the morning was usually 2.5 to 3 hours. in the evening it was a crapshoot. Anywhere between 3-4 hours. If it was raining, closer to 5-6. And in the summer it rains almost every afternoon...

 

And would also live in Travelers Rest instead of Greenville if commuting to Asheville. TR is a great town, close to Greenville and right at the foot of the mountains.

 

Thats so foreign to me haha. When it rains in LA, I don't hit any traffic. Nobody goes to work because they are afraid.

Just get a job where you live. That's easy to do in South Carolina.

 

Only will be around for a short time so transferring in the same company is best for me

San Diego traffic has gotten so bad in the last 7 years.

 

if you take i 26- beautiful drive! traffic will begin on I 26 near Hendersonvile/Arden area, otw to Ashevile. Smooth sailing otherwise!

 

Yup. Even though every interstate has been made mush wider!

 

Easy peasy today. There is usually a lot more red.

OMG, no wonder you want out. Tuff, tuff drive. Its gotta be taking a toll on you.

 

Please keep in mind that it is currently 2pm here and that is the traffic... It's so bad in LA that they added dark red to the red zones and only give a time frame that you may make it in instead of an estimated time.
