No need to order them directly from SPC, hit up head strong off road im sure they have the latest style.

As far as alignment. Set them to the center (+2 total extra caster - position D ) setting and slide the ball joint ALL the way outbound and lock them down before going in for alignment. The camber and caster can then be fine tuned by the LCA like normal and the alignment tech wont have to touch the top. IF the alignment guy can not get 3* of caster WITH at LEAST -0.2* of camber, then and ONLY then, loosen the upper ball joint and slide it inward to create some negative camber. Simple as that.

Most of the time they should be able to get proper numbers with the ball slid ALL the way out. Positives with this is that if you need to remove or replace the ball you know exactly where it goes.

Excellent info. I've read about ways of increase clearance with the light racing by settings them down another notch or two on caster and letting the lower components do all the caster, then compensating the lower caster with camber. Is this the same method you're describing?

Not quite. Using the center "D" position will increase caster by 2* over stock by moving the ball joint back (as with every other after market UCA that increases caster). If you had clearance issues at the firewall / cab mount, you could do what you describe, run the LCA as far forward as possible irregardless of caster / camber. Then with a combination of different upper ball joint settings get your desired caster / camber, this will pull the wheel furthest forward as possible for extra clearance. FYI. moving the upper ball joint forward or back doesnt have much of an effect on clearance / position of the wheel in the wheel well as its much further away from the center of the wheel compared to the LBJ, hence why moving the LCA full forward can gain you quite a bit o clearance.

The previous method i described above would be ideal to center the wheel in the wheel well, and make it the most user friendly for you and any alignment tech as you know exactly where the ball joint needs to be to get your alignment if you had to remove the ball / suspension components.

Currently i'm currently running 3rd gen Bilsteins at the 4th setting , and the truck is sitting pretty level. Sitting a hair over 37" front and back from ground to bottom of fender wells....so i got a hair up my butt and ordered 887's , Headstrong 3 leaf aal , rear Bilsteins, 1/4 top plate for driver side and LR uca's. I'm hoping to be right at around 38.5" after the install. My only concern at the moment is the size of my tires...265/70/17...here's a quick side shot of the truck as it sits now. Pics after the install next Tuesday...

You measure from the middle of the hub.

If you measure from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender it removes your tire size from impacting the calculation. Having 38" from ground to fender on 31" tires isn't the same as having 38" ground to fender on 33" tires.

Got my 887s on today with 1/4" driver side spacer, set at 0" with my Bilstein 5100s. Went smooth and got almost another half an inch of lift from the 5100s with stock springs set at 2.5". Also rides muuch smoother. Great upgrade.

What's your total lift from the upgrade do you think? I bought the same setup but haven't had the time to put it on yet.

Well the 5100s top adjustment was technically 2.5" with stock coils. I did gain about another half an inch with the 887s, set at 0". So overall atleast 2.75"-3" lift up front

Very important that the Bilsteins are set at the lowest setting...0. There was a mistake with my install ,where they did not do this . It was a noticeably harsh ride. I had it corrected quickly and all is good now. Very nice ride....here's just a quick picture
