Is the TRD Pro and TRD Sport truck body similar? If so, then can I assume to use the TRD Pro wheel specs as "stock" for the TRD Sport? The TRD Pro wheels are 17x7 +4mm offset which equals about 4.16" backspace. Is this the maximum backspace before rubbing on the inside cab mount occurs or can we go more? On the opposite end, is this the maximum "poke" from the edge of fender without rubbing the fender, mud flap, etc.? If I add bushwackers, they are supposed to provide an additional inch or so of width. Does this mean I can go a little wider stance than TRD Pro stock width and be okay without rub of the fender or mud flap?

Was just at Toyota today and was talking with a shop guy about wheels and tires fitment. He literally pulled out the TRD Pro wheel off the display shelf and looked it up... OP dimensions are correct. At least for the all black non-beadlock look version. I think there may be more than one type of TRD Pro wheels tho, or you're thinking of the TRD OR...

So I see you HAVE a TRD Pro... Sooo... clearly there are more than one wheel type. here's the one I was talking about:

You are correct, there are different versions of "TRD Pro" wheels. Can't give you all the specifics or differences, but the below links do show they have a different offset.

The ones you're showing in the above link are technically the 4Runner Pro rims, although they do fit the 3G Tacoma and lots of people run them. (PTR20-35110-BK)

The 2017 TRD Pro Tacoma uses the below. (PT758-35170-02)

Thanks. I was referring to the first link. The second link is actually different offset than @Dacon mentions.
Do you know what is the maximum backspace before rubbing the inner fender and/or cab mount? How far past the fenders can the tire poke?

Is this what you are currently running? Where is the edge of the wheel relative to fender wall? Any pics?

Be more specific and will take pictures. My truck is in the shop now for alignment.

Why is it that the stock TRD Pro stance appears wider than the stock TRD Sport? I thought the offset on the Pro was more negative, but actually it's only 16x7 +25mm whereas the TRD Sport is 17x7.5 +30mm.

    Because it does.
The Pro is a 16x7 +13mm, 4.5" backspace, 17mm poke over the Sport.

So much varying information, b/c @Dacon with a TRD Pro said the offset is +25mm. Which is correct here?

Way too many settings and variables...
Will sell my rims/tires soon since will replace them with bigger ones.
