The people that say that did not use enough plastidip.
The more coats you put on the easier it comes offf..
If you have trouble removing old dip..
spray 4 or 5 coats on old dip.. wait to dry and try peeling it again.
When removing over spray or lightly coated areas try dip remover from dipyourcar.com or just use wd40.

Most of the negative comment on plastidip are people who have never actually used it or people who applied it incorrectly.

I had mine off for summer so I did them then.
Also made it easy to stick index cards between wheel and tire to avoid tire clean up after.

But you can dip them on truck too..
You can carefully put some tire shine on tire itself then cover brakes with shop n save bags (or whatever) then wipe tires down after spray dries. Check out some youtube videos the dipyourcar guy has a few with tires on vehicle.

Mine have lasted through several maine winters and still look great for this winter.

Dipyourcar. Com has some cool tire & brake protection also.

Yea removing is the best way.
Just remember the more you put on..... the better it will last and the better it will come off once you decide to.
I put one thin coat on then just put thicker coats on after that.
I'd say I ended up using almost of a full can on each wheel.
    Index cards work amazing.

Did you end up taking them off or did you spray them on the truck?

I'm gonna take the flares off and have them painted. Should I take the dip off or just let them sand it off?

I tried the respray, worked better than before but still...what a pain. God some adhesive remover from work and it worked pretty well. Thanks!

I always wondered how my rims would look in a darker color. Now I know, and I like it. Thanks!
