Do you have a buffer you'd prefer? I was debating on volquartsen or tactical solutions.

I got this 10/22 in 1992. I was 10 years old. I made a deal with my dad, if I made the money by working for it, he would buy the gun for me. So for the next 3 months, I ran around the neighborhood with my dad's lawn mower, rake and broom and offered to cut people's lawns. I never told them a price I was charging. I just let them decide on what to give me when I was done. After I got $150 saved up, my dad and I went to the gun shop and picked out the 10/22 I was dreaming about. The guy behind the counter said you can buy a brand new one in the box for $150 or... you can save some money and put it towards a scope and ill sell you this display model for $110. I said deal! Its been the best .22 ever since. Lots of rabbits have been taken with this tack driver.

I wouldn't spend the money for a VQ, I'm sure there's are nice, but way to spendy. I have no experience with TI nor know what they ask for a buffer. I've got several different ones (I've got 7 10/22s). Tuffer Buffers are my favorites, a fellow over on RimfireCentral.com has them 3 for $10.00 or $12.00 shipped. But there are tons on eBay, for around the same, even less that I'm sure will serve you well.

Edit: I wouldn't hesitate to give this one a try.

Nice, after shooting a couple of CZs of my buddies, that will definitely be my next purchase. I love the 452 American.

That's a sharp looking rifle. I'd wager it's a shooter as well. Again, the two I've shot of my buddies are amazing.

These 2 bad boys have almost similar set up both shoot super nice. Top 16 1/2" Kidd ultra lightweight target barrel bottom 18" Kidd lightweight target barrel. IMG_8660.jpg IMG_8667.jpgIMG_8596.jpg According to my shooting experienced beyond 50 yards subsonic ammos perform better with bolt action rifles than semi-autos.IMG_8657.jpgIMG_8641.jpg

I am very motivated when I want to be :D

Although it is missing a takedown screw so I had to order one on ebay and ship it here by Friday for weekend plinking. Also, decided to buy a auto bolt release, Kidd v-block, and extended mag release while I was at it :anonymous:

Your factory bolt catch has a tiny "catch" that needs ground away then it will work just as well as any auto bolt release.
