    I have these...

But I LOVE the SEMA wheels. I had them on my last Tacoma. Can't go wrong either way.

265/75/16 for the beadlock and 265/70/17 for the sema wheels are the biggest you can go on stock suspension.

Edit... the 17's are cheaper if that factors into your equation.

Both are excellent choices. I'd look at the tire you want to run and see if it is available in C-load for 16 or 17. E-load tires will hurt power, mpgs, braking and ride. KO2s for example come in C-load for 17 but not for 16, which is why I switched to a 17" wheel.

265/70R17 or 265/75R16 are the largest recommended size for zero rubbing, 1" larger than stock.

If you like the look of the bead lock style, but want a 17" wheel for all the tire options, theres really only one option......4Runner rock warriors :D

I was literally looking at your thread again trying to make myself go ahead and pull the trigger. I wanna run 265 70 17 ko2's as well. Not bad weight-wise and can stay in C load range.

OP for weight reference, the 16" TRD beadocks weigh 23.5lbs and the 17 Pros weigh 25lbs.

Keep in mind a 17" tire with everything else being the same will be lighter that a 16" tire of the same overall size and load rating.

The black SEMA wheels look great on the 3rd gen and that wheel's offset gives a slightly wider stance. Unless you have a specific need for the higher capacity of E load tires, try to stay with C load. The E K02's are really stiff/harsh and it's an immediate 1-2 mpg fuel economy hit vs the stock TRD Sport tires. Hard to justify unless you're towing or consistently hauling heavy things in the bed

I like them both and couldn't decide either. Got rid of the stocks for the 17in' pro wheels, they are my new 'stock' wheels.
When I get new wheels and tires, I'll get the beadlocks, and just have both sets.
Win-win and I won't have to choose between the two.

    What color truck?

You can run the beadlocks with or without the trim rings, personally, I like them better without and also look a little like the 17 inch 4Runner PRO wheels.

Never been a fan of the bead locks. I went with the 17" Pro wheel. Love the look of them, but they are a matte finish and are harder to keep clean looking.

Those look much better without the rings!

    I think so too.

Or you could powder coat the rings for a different look also.

I didn't even know those were trim rings until you mentioned that, really changes the look of those wheels!

I'm partial but I love my 16" faux beadlocks.

Bronze look good too, prefer them with the powder coated black trim ring myself.

Would look really good on a white, silver, black or red truck.
