Ya it is a puzzle! There's probably 15 bb sized check balls that have to go in certain bores. I wish Toyota would have made a DCLB 6mt. But to me the bed and cab space was more important. the fact that I paid 7500 for a 130k 05 In 2012 with a brand new frame helped also.

Here, it was the coldest its been in a while.. 49F (-30C)

 

It's fantastic! Slept with a window open and bundled up in bed. Love cold sleeping.

 

ive had 2 windows open in my house for a month. Ill close them when it gets to be 50s in the day. I guess you can say I like sleeping when its cold.. but also when I am warm. When I am cold, then i am not enjoying

 

Oh yeah, totally agreed. That's why when we go winter camping, I need to get a better sleeping bag.

Ooooo, that's neat and not too terribly expensive for what it is. I'm also probably gonna pick up one of those propane tent heaters to take the edge off on those cold mornings. I just wouldn't sleep with it on.

Yep! I've heard they don't make the tent warm and toasty, but it'll definitely take the edge off.

 

i heard they have a carbon monoxide monitor, but might want to get another one just in case

 

Yeah they have one built in, and will also shut off if it tips over or the pilot light goes out. I'd definitely still get another one though just for peace of mind.

Only stuff I'd be interested in is the hot dog roasters and the grate to cook directly over the fire. That's pretty neat.

 

Good Morning Lair!

I am running some errands with the fam but this afternoon my 12g has a date with some whitewing dove.

 

We expect some pics!!!

 

I use one in my.ice fishing shanty. It can be below zero outside with the wind blowing and I am sitting in my shanty in a t-shirt and jeans. I just have the small version with one ceramic panel. It works really well!!!

 

Those heaters works wonders. We have two of them up at the lake. In the winter we wrap our screen room with 3mm plastic and a tarp. We run two of them in the screen room and it keeps it nice and warm. There's no insulation, and most of the time it's about -10°C with a north wind coming off the lake and inside the room u wouldn't even know it haha we have one big one which can heat up the space just fine when it's 0° or higher but when it's gets windy and below 0 we toss on the smaller one as well

 

i run that in my tent, it doesnt consume a whole lot of propane
