    Actually just spent 2 hours cutting weed trees out around the place. Almost 60* and hot, sweaty and dripping in blood from cuts on my arms. Damn buckthorn. But sprayed the stumps hopefully the bastages will not come back next year. Time for a shower and maybe a run to town. Or a nap.

    Crap I have to slice my bacon it is still sitting on wire racks in the fridge in the garage. Helps to sit for a week or so to meld the smoke and flavor together. Today. Today it is time to start slicing. Ate the last of the "old" stuff yesterday. Have a couple pounds of wings defrosting in the kitchen for later today.

    I think most do that, too. They just get all excited and talk about it as the season gets closer. Probably, the majority here are in clubs that have yearly leases on their land, and they are constantly doing something. My brother even keeps his old camper on theirs.
