I'm in LA. I had offered to make a run north with my chevy and trailer to help out some other SoCal people but I guess the order limit was already hit. I know you're slammed with this. No big deal. Let me know if you do it again.

Hey guys, the guys at CVT sent me this link: http://www.washingtonflyfishing.com/forum/threads/rtt.133644/#post-1310144

If the intent of the post listed above was to try and get more numbers, then I appreciate it, but I do not like what I read.

    1) I've been very honest with every one since post 1. I told you where I got my information from, and I even asked Francis to register here so you guys could ask him questions too. He even posted his tent and all the info he has. This website has been very good to me and I have met awesome people through it. I've said from the very beginning, I just wanted to get numbers so we could get an RTT for way lower than market cost.

    2) I'm not a vendor. I have a day job. When this started the intent was to only get 20 and pay less than 700. People from all over the US have hit me up trying to get in on this and I wanted to accommodate because I think its a good deal and I'd hate to be left out because I live in "X". If you've been following it from the beginning then you know this grew WAY out of hand and its been a logistical nightmare, so much so that we now have a third guy helping us out. So again, I'm not a vendor. I'm not trying to run a side hustle/business/scam like the post implied. Some of you know me personally. This is a lot of work, and reading things like this make it annoying.

I just wanted to get a deal on a good tent and share the wealth. If you want it great. If you don't then don't buy it.

I've been clear from the beginning, this is an imitation. I don't have one. I don't know anymore about it than you do. Is this the nameless brand of buying a Yeti tumbler? Maybe. Maybe not, but that's why I wanted to get this cheap. There's no guarantees in quality. I'm just a facilitator. I'm buying a tent too. I'm giving my money to the same guy you all are.

One last thing to remember. This is going to take time. From it getting to us from China, to other members picking it up, to your doorstep. You can have this fast, or you can have this cheap, but not both. I will be making updates as I receive them, and I am more than happy to answer any questions you guys have to give confidence. We're all taking a chance here. The goal is to take it for the least amount of money possible.

    That is all.

Hey man- I can't disagree with you at all. You have been 100% honest as far as I can tell and anyone who thinks otherwise isn't reading all your posts through and through. You're simply providing a cheaper alternative to the current brand name tents. Cheaper in price, and possibly in quality which you have stated before. Even posted photos for comparison. The CVT guys just assumed you're getting Sunday Camper because I posted that link probably, I don't think you ever mentioned the factory or source.

Quite frankly- I don't like the way the CVT rep spoke to you or addressed the forum. If you're going to be posting on a company's behalf- you should at least edit, read, and be professional when posting on forums. Lots of folks have great things to say about their customer service, and I don't doubt it from them, but so far not impressed with how they handle their business.

I can see brand protection being a thing. That said, it does highly resemble a CVT.

It is a Sunday Camper. I dont have beef with CVT and I do think they are trying to protect their brand. I can't blame them. Quite honestly I didn't know they were active in TW and I didn't think this would get the attention it has received. My only beef was that other forum claiming I am trying to run a scam. I'm not and I plan to post pictures and updates the whole time. My living quarters will suck due to this. I will not be surprised if I have to store a lot of these tents inside my apartment.

Keep up the good work man.

We're all assuming all the risk that a "real" company assumes. From inventory, to damage in shipping, to the shitshow of buying from Asia directly; I applaud your work, and getting a team together to support it.

If we have tents on our trucks in time for spring 2018 camping this will be a fantastic success.

This seems to be the final list.

    57 is the number.
