Trading in the 16'

Unless Toyota added stuff to the towing package, you don't have sway control. Towing package is just electrical wire and hitch, maybe extra cooler if automatic. I believe you have to add your own sway control and weight distribution (through a different hitch set-up), and add a brake controller. Lots of threads on that in TW, many will try to convince you to buy a Tundra to tow, so beware

 

Yeah I just picked up a brake controller and the details on the tow package says trailer sway control, beat I could find about it was its computer controlled. So when the truck feels a sway is will drag the trailer brakes on its own....prob won't trust that. I am looking at lessening a tundra no way in hell im getting rid of my taco!

 

Here she is pulling a 31' camper. Dry weight was 5900lbs. I had no problems pulling the camper and my truck dident work hard either.
