I have a 2004 taco prerunner and the power outlets just stopped working out of nowhere. I already checked all the fuses and all of them were fine any ideas on what could be the issue ?

They have a fusible link on their backside that can go open circuit if you ever somehow overloaded them.

The back of the power socket itself has a last ditch safety precautions called a fusible link. I can post a pic of one later.

It's like a wire. I believe you just resolder a new one.

Just want to make sure you know that there are two locations for fuses.... one under the dash near the driver's knee and the other in the engine compartment near the battery.

Do you have a volt meter? Pull the 12v outlets (cig lighter) and check the voltage at the wires where they go into the back of the plug. Use a good ground instead of the neg wire on the plug. If one of them has a good 12v but the others don't, it's probably the fusible link Speedy was talking about.
