I had other things going on, but thought I might be headed to Spokane that weekend to help my cousin move so I subbed.

Needless to say I spent all weekend hunting.:)

Howd it go? Or did it?

It didn't, which worked out for me. I spent my whole weekend making dog food. Started with 3 hunks of beef totaling about 80 lbs, trim the fat off, cut into small enough strips to fit through food grinder attachment, then grind it into hamburger. I spent all day Saturday and half the day Sunday dealing with the beef. I need a real meat grinder, but can't afford it yet. The rest of the day Sunday was running vegetables, whole eggs including shells, and blueberries through the food processor, dump into biggest container I've got (one for canning), mix in 15# turkey and 5# beef per batch. Each batch was filling two 2 gallon ziplock bags and having a little extra, to where I had an extra bag after 5 batches. Put almost all of it in the freezer and let it sit until needed. Each 2 gallon bag lasts about 3 days and my dogs ear better than I do. I finished about 20 minutes ago.

This is the one I have in mind. It is actually rated for making pet food and chewing up bones
