$100 4runner should I ?

Yep, do it. I never find cool stuff from parts Tacomas- because there aren't any. But I always snag 4Runner stuff and most of it fits ( or can be made to work).

 

Gonna go pickup some sideview mirrors this week from a 4runner.

There's a 97 4Runner out at my local yard. Tempted to add the crotch vent now. Can we call it the swamp ass vent?

 

Depends on how powerful it is - I have days in summer traffic where I'd need a Bentley turbo prop to cool me off behind the front acres.

 

See if there is some wiggle room in the price, I think you can talk him down a little.
