yeah, and didn't melt my bushings. I used a really wet rag to keep things cool. Now I'm trying to see if I should do the alignment myself or take it down to yakima or take it back to schwabs

Sweet dude! That's awesome! It was a real pain how many pictures were lost total on the site! Must've had to work out a deal, eh?

So went down to Utah for around 12 days. Started just outside of Spanish Forks, worked our way down to Moab, and over to St. Gorge for a family wedding. After the 11-12 hour drive down and with all of the stops along the way we didn't get to our first spot until dark around 11pm. Little did I know it was hunting season and it took us another hour or so to find a camp, but when we woke up the views were worth it.

We forgot to get gas in Spanish Forks so we didn't have enough fuel to run Skyline Drive all the way out, so we popped backed down to the high way and headed down to Moab.

Got to Moab around noon, and was able to find a spot with access down to the river where we had lunch and got to cool off for a bit.

Then we headed over to Arches to see some of the rock things. :D

After leaving Arches we figured we would head the back way into Canyonlands and camp around White Rim. As we are driving my wife sees a cactus and was like stop I want a picture. So I stopped and let her out, she turns around and says your tire is leaking, and proceeds to take pictures of her cactus like it wasn't an issue and I would be able to flip a switch and stop it from leaking. lol

Looking the tire over found the puncture in the sidewall of passenger rear. This was part of a new set I bought just a week before this trip. So after putting a plug in the tire and getting to more level ground got to put the hi-lift to use. This time I opened the door before using the jack after my last go around with @NorthwestCruiser . We decided to call it a night and turn around and head back into town in hopes of getting a tire in the AM or ordering one.

The next morning the tire shop was closed, but found a local that knew the owner who took us over to look at used selection to see if we could find a suitable tire. After looking around we didn't find one, and would have to wait another day to until the tire shop opened on Tuesday. So instead of wasting a day, because I didn't want to wheel without a spare with another 1500 miles to go on our trip. I called up Dan Mick and they had a spot open, so the wife was able to run Hell's Revenge in a modded JK.

That night we found a camp spot in the sand flats area, where we made some camp nachos and enjoyed the sun set and full moon.

After checking with the tire shop in the morning they didn't carry Goodyear MTRs. So we pushed over to St. Gorge where we ordered a new MTR and got it the next day. After getting the tire installed we headed out to Zion, to check out the nation park. It happened to rain that morning and it was awesome, well worth it, but kinda of a bummer you can't drive up that road anymore and its for the shuttle only. We then spent the next few days having a family wedding then pushed back up to Washington in a day. All in all it was a good trip, the tire set us back but we tried to make up for it. Can't wait to do another trip to a different state.

Also shoutout to all the TW members we ran into along the way. It was nice meeting you guys and checking out the builds.

Yeah I bet. We'll see how many Nitto's do this winter and you may get the itch to change once these wear out.. or you get another puncture.

When i broke my locker in march down in moab, i got drunk and thought it would be a good idea to use the hi lifts to pick up the truck to see if it was my r&p or locker. Well @NorthwestCruiser told me to open the door and I said na we got this, and as soon as the truck came off the ground the jacks kicked out and went into the door. I have a nice 6" scratch and dent in the driver side rear door.

AH! ok, makes sense now... I remember you broke something but didn't hear the hi lift self inflicted trail damage...
I'm headed to Moab in a month so I'll learn from your experience
