2" lift; extra rear leaf springs
I always regretted selling my 99 Runner and I JUST bought its truck equivalent on Monday! WOO-HOO!! Snagged a gold, 2000 Taco with 177K, SR5, 5spd, rear diff lock, 2" lift, topper included, and extra leaf springs in the back. She's in for a timing belt before I drive any further, and had some other things to be taken care of too.

Here's what I know is wrong:
    -timing belt (being done now)
-worn and leaky shocks in rear
-worn and leaky struts in front
-battery corrosion (bought a new one)
    -topper arms bad (bought new)
-tiny leak in radiator (might replace)
-valve cover gaskets leaking a little
-potential for a catalytic converter code but unclear

What do you think? For 177K I think it sounds reasonable and I'm stoked to get her on the road again and out there! Any suggestions for what comes first / what to watch out for in the near future? What should I definitely do so she goes as long as possible? I LOVE driving this truck!

    Too few to list.
Congrats. Check the ball joints. Was an issue on the 1st gen aside from frame rust.

Check ball joints, get new shocks and replace the valve cover gasket.
Then drive it like you stole it
