Kinetic Rope Used Like Static?

    Can a kinetic rope like be used in a static manner?

    I would say no, because it would be stretching near it's limit during use. A static strap is so cheap, so why no get one?

    I have a static one already...but was just curious. Don't have a kinetic one...was thinking about getting one but wanted to know if I still needed to keep the static one in there.

    They both have their benefits. The kinetic is beneficial in pulling another vehicle out with your own. Static is handy as a winch extension or tree saver.
