Did you ever take Differential Equations and Linear Algebra?

 

Youtube got me through Calc 2, 3 and Diff EQ. Never took Linear Algebra, had to choose between that and DE

 

I just got sent home, almost fainted.

 

Lucky bastard. The UCs and CSUs required both for Engineering. I had to take a compacted course that combined the two.....well, I actually took the class a couple of times. It wasn't/isn't easy.

Our professor really tried to make a boring, cut-and-dry subject kinda fun. He taught us Related Rates using alcohol. One of my favorite pop-quizzes:

"Alpha Theta Pi has a bigass beer bong that holds 2 gallons of beer at 5% ABV. The new Rush candidate is chugging at a rate of .3gal/min. But his Big Brother is poring Jack Daniels at 40% ABV in the bong at a rate of .25 gal/min. Assume it's all mixing completely, what alcohol percentage is the Rush drinking after 30 seconds? How many gallons of alcohol did he consume in that 30 seconds? How long will it take before he's chugging straight Jack Daniels?

.....Alright, next question. The hospital is pumping his stomach at a rate of..."
