Went with OME Nitrocharger 90000 in the front with 887 coils, Dakar Light Pack in the rear. Tires are LT 265 75 R16's Cooper AT3's in load range C. Not the most aggressive looking but familiar with the tire and liked them. Discount tire broke one the the wheel studs so will have to take it to the shop to get fixed. Luckily they are going to pay for it.

Good choice on the light pack Dakars. That's what I have now and it's so much better than AAL.

Where did you find this Dakar Light Pack? I've only been able to find Medium and Heavy. How does the light support that Shell?

Is that just an unpainted rear bumper cap? I noticed it's black and not chrome.

Definitely a lot stiffer than the stock ride, I prefer it. My last truck was a 2003 Ford F250 so a rougher ride doesn't bother me.

From what I found there are only two options for the Dakar leaf pack, light and heavy. If you get the heavy and remove the third leaf it turns in to the light duty pack. If you have the light duty pack and want to stiffen it up, you can buy the extra leaf from OME. Seems to support the weight just fine. With the factory leafs I lost the factory rake. With the lift installed the factory rake is back.

Yes, they are just the unpainted caps, bought them off of ebay. Pretty easy to install, didn't have to take the bumper completely apart. Luckily I have skinny fingers and was able to get the alligator clip back on.

This is from Headstrongs website. So you bought the heavy and roved a leaf?

The "Medium Duty" leaf pack will provide approx. 2.75" lift (2005-2015 Tacoma) or 2.0" lift(2016+ Tacoma) while supporting 0 lbs - GVW
    • The "Heavy Duty" leaf pack will provide approx. 2.75" lift (2005-2015 Tacoma) or 2.0" lift (2016+ Tacoma) while supporting a constant load of 660 lbs.
