Haha I know you didn't install it but wanted you to see.

I tried everything to run my engage kit with the hose like that and no matter what it hit. Your kit has way more travel though.

When they were installing them I asked and they said they cycled it with it in that positions and I went and tried to flex on a loading ramp and it didn't come into contact at bump. I'm still not a fan of the position since it will be a factor when the stock bumps are removed and king bumps go in so it will be mounted under UCA soon!

Doubt they checked it thoroughly! If it's the same shop I saw your truck at, they don't actually do all they say they do. Had a friend get his 90' Toyota pickup SAS'd there and I ended up having to redo the whole thing because they cut so many corners and for an off-road "fabrication" shop I would think they knew what they were doing

DTF for the win!.. trucks lookin sick dude! dig that front clip to.. make sure you def route that resi hose under the upper when you get those stock bump stops removed.. the kit has a crazy amount of up travel as you can see in the last picture that upper will go all the way up in the fender wall

So I’m looking for my rear axle to start building up the rear, the junk yard I’ve been going to has a Dana 80 dually axle.. think it’s to big clearance wise? I think it’d be interesting

Lol I’m really looking into it, it’s a bit rusted out so also have to consider costs of cleaning it like new

Well I bought the Dana 80 dually axle for $100. Whether or not I use in on the Tacoma, we’ll see. Might just ship it home and put it on something else. My front track width is 92” the rear axle comes out to 90” so it will match the front if I decide to put it on

Typically you want a little more narrow in the rear if I’m not wrong

You can have it matched. Having the rear a little narrower helps getting into parking spots and reduce over-steer.

First step to getting the bed cage done. This will be the skeleton of the cage, what do yall think?
The frame is now boxed from the cab back as well for strength.

It is very ghetto with the tail lights lol i think i may pull the trigger on BajaDesign RTL-S bar

A few more bars will be added in, some on sides for strength and build out to mount bypasses.

Also, i am not going with the Dana 80, i have a 14 bolt i will be putting together. More updates later.
