I bought the above truck. I also bought wheel locks for it. In trying to take one lugnut off (to put a wheel lock on it) I found I couldn't....mainly due to the SHORT nut body and the wrench head slipping off each time I gave the nut a twist. Where can I get nuts that will fit the original wheels...but have a longer body so they mate properly with the factory or nonfactory lugnut wrench? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply! I was mainly curious if there were lugnuts that would replace the factory OEM lugs due to the factory OEMs having short bodies that don't allow the wrench to grip them as well. TIA.

Thread revive. I have bad luck with the OEM lug nuts. I had some in my 4Runner and when I got new tires, they drove the locks with an impact wrench. I had to go to another shop who took them off with their torque wrench at max torque in reverse. The nut and lock for all of them were messed up. I was lucky that the previous owner had the original lugs so I replaced them.
    That story aside.

Has anyone had better luck with these? Are these the correct size?
