    1-3" Low Range lift kit
so the 2014 tacoma lift and tire project troubles continue, we are working to resolve the front CV needle bearing issue but we have another issue I wanted some input on. So we added a Low Range 1-3" leveling kit and thus the front CV angle was slightly increased. We have picked up a very slight shimmy/wobble on the front end at highway speed. It is not severe but is felt through the steering wheel as well as you can see it in items in the cab, as they shimmy. The dealer put it up on the lift and with the tire in the fully down position, while rotating the tire by hand the CV jont seems to travel up and down and not smoothly in a circle. If this is happening at speed it would more than explain the shimmu or wobbel I am feeling. Of course the dealer is blaming the lift kit and says it needs to come off? My qiestion is does any one make an after market CV that will eliminate this wobble?

Check out east coast gear supply. They make a bushing to help with this. It replaces the needle bearing and takes up the cv shaft into front diff. They have a video showing whats goin on in there. No lift on my truck yet but wanting to. Hope this helps

Sure it's not the wheel bearing?
