Not actually my first Tacoma, but the newest so far. I picked up an 07 base trim with 160k for 9 bills and have been real happy with it so far. Putting some linseed oil on the faded plastic fenders perked it up real nice.

Is this the last year without a chipped key? The dealer thought it had one but it definitely does not (thank heavens).

Anyway I'll bring more annoying questions to the forums, just saying hey in here. Been a part time mechanic all my life so hopefully I'll be able to help someone out once in a while!

Welcome! From north central Mass here,

This place is full of bad ideas... I got my truck just over a year ago stock.. now it's got a steel plate front bumper, 10,000 pound winch, complete OME lift kit, bed rack, an assortment of led lights and I just had my mobtown offroad sliders delivered.

If you haven't already, hide your wallet!
