Every time my iPhone connects as an audio device - then I NEVER hear calendar or ANY other alerts! For this to work, you must pick Bluetooth as the input - but then you can't listen to radio. Is there any way to keep it from connecting as an audio device? I have to disconnect that feature every time I get in.

Not sure on iphone, but on android it's in the bluetooth connection, you select on the bluetooth device you're connected to (entune) which connections you're allowing (media, phone, contacts, etc) Assuming it would be similar for iphone.

Check settings on the phone. Disable the "media" profile.

With media enabled, your phone will be sending all the alert sounds and stuff to your stereo, but if your stereo isn't on the BT input, you won't hear it.

If you want to switch to streaming music from your phone to your stereo, you'd have to re-enable the media profile.

Ok - I cannot find a way to stop this. Guess I'll call an "entune specialist"

OK - was just on phone with Entune for 30 minutes. They say it is an iOS issue. So NO ONE ELSE is annoyed by this behavior, or they don't see it??

Maybe make your alerts so that it's sound + vibration? I keep my phone setup as media device so my audio alerts won't come through unless I'm on bluetooth, but the phone still vibrates for everything so I can feel when I've got something....but honestly it doesn't matter to me much because I am not checking my phone when I'm driving (and neither should you, just sayin)

Can't you just turn off Bluetooth on your iPhone?
