I'm looking for a cell phone mounting attachment for my Taco. Tired of fumbling around with my phone and Massachusetts is now "hands free". Ideally I would mount to the dash somewhere in the vicinity of the radio/heater controls but would suction mount to the windshield as an alternative. I do not want to drill into my dash to mount. There's a ton of garbage out there and I don't want to buy something to throw it away. So I am looking for feedback on a solid attachment and one that offers decent placement within reach.

    Thanks!

The ram mount on the grab handle next to the door is absolutely the best option I've found

There are a bunch of options on this site, some have it attached to their A pillar, others drill into the dash or next to the A/C controls. I just use a suction cup holder on the windshield that I can move if needed.

I went with a Tech-Deck and it's really solid. Going to mount a iPad mini on the passenger side and have my phone on the drivers side of it. I've really liked it and it's solid. You do have to drill a couple holes though.

Ram Mount X grip is hard to beat but pricey when you compare to other brands

Ram makes some dedicated cradles too depending on what phone you have

    This!!!!!

@TacomaJay09 I was like you at first and didn't want to screw into the dash to mount anything. Finally broke down and for the tech deck. I have a ram mount x grip to hold my phone. I wish I had done this mod earlier!!!!! Very sturdy and gives you options to add more mounts if needed.

You can't make the x-mount lose the phone. Thing is strong as hell.

Thanks all. I don't plan on having my truck too much longer so I went with the Scosche magnet. It was just too easy and only $20 plus I can use it in the other cars within the family. These forums never cease to amaze me. You can always find anything you need on here. Love it.
