    Hi, Guys

    Has anyone heard anything about our Gen3's getting an Entune update to include Apple Car Play? It would be nice to have this feature on our units via an update.

    Unfortunately no. Toyota is very anti Google and Apple when it comes to their infotainment system. Toyota has actually given their reasons in several articles. So I would research it. But ultimately they don't want to cede control of the dashboard to either Google or Apple.

    However, Ford and GM are very pro CarPlay and Android Auto. So the new Ranger and Bronco will have it.

    definitely not worth it for 250, might as well get a new compatible head unit at that point...plus it seems like you cant even use the touch screen function of head unit once its mirrored
