he's got a 1969 TR6 Triumph. Its been sitting for 30 years, has not run once in that time. parked it when my sister was born and has not seen the road since. for the first 22 years it was stored in a nice dry garage, but in 09 they moved into a new house with no garage. so its been sitting outside for the last 8 years. its covered and not parked on the grass but I would imagine the past 8 years has not done it any favours. I have a feeling I will be stripping it down to the frame to make some repairs haha but then I can upgrade the suspension and other things to a more modern technology lol I don't plan on restoring it to complete OEM, I don't plan on selling it or anything, so I want it to be unique and drive nice. its got a 2.5L straight 6 in it that puts out 150hp but the engine bay is massive so I'm sure I could put more power in it haha it will be a fun project, a long one but fun and well worth it once its done lol rebuilding it is kind of one of my life goals haha I hope he gets to see it on the road one day

 

@08TRDOFFROAD what brand were your headlights again? I want to pick up a set soon because these current ones suck donkey dick and scatter light everywhere. I feel like such an asshole driving at night blinding everyone. @fatfurious2 says it's like my brights are on all the time.

 

That's awesome! I like the look of those TR6s, I'd say restore the body and amp up everything else! Make it a sleeper and enjoy a laugh with your father when you smoke a mustang off the line!
