No Oregon car should be rusty, I bought mine from northern Idaho so it's a little rusty. There is a guy on here that will run a vin check and it's by donation. Might be worth the check to see history. Saw a lot of Canadian trucks that came out of auctions when I was looking to buy

I got Willie working on it. The rig came from salt lake city originally. I don't even think they know what road sand is.

About 1/4 mile of sagebrush cleared for a driveway with an area big enough to turn around a 30ft trailer.
Lots of moon dust. Needs gravel quick. Put a fire ring down in one of the areas that pools with the rain. Dont want to be too inviting to unauthorized visitors in the winter.

It's a long story but here goes:
TJ lives in NV and found a runner in bend. Gal gave him some flack bc he wasn't local. He asked for help which I obliged. I contacted said seller in attempt to procure her runner. When I finally(!) contact her she wants to make sure I'm local and serious. Granted the prefix on my phone is pdx since that is where I moved from. She told me she gets multiple quarries a day and wants to ensure, again, to the seriousness of potential procurement. She tells me where the runner is and says I can look at it. ASSUMING it it's parked at HER house I go over. Good thing it only takes a few minutes to get from A to B in this town, unlike pdx. Anyway, no truck, no seller anywhere. I go home. TJ just pm'd me saying that it's supposed to be parked at her ex's house. Well, my gut feeling is that this is a shit storm brewing. IDK, trying not to make any assumptions as to what goes on in other people's lives.

Lady's trying to unload the 4runner to someone local before the ex finds out? That would be one hell of an episode on a reality tv show hahah

Yeah, it is turning into a real shitshow. I actually found a forsale thread on T4R.org. The guy who posted the CL ad claims its his message therapist.

What's up all! I just landed a new job in the PNW and their main office is in Bend. I'll be heading up Monday the 4th for some training then off to Woodland, WA. I'll be scattered around the northwest but on the weekends I don't drive back to Reno I'll be out exploring. Bend has always been one of my favorite places, I worked there for almost four months at Newberry Geothermal back in like 2013 and fell in love with it. Hope to meet some of you soon, thanks for the great info in the thread!

Welcome to bend(again) Kyle. We hope to see you.
I'm taking the kid to clear lake to hang out till Saturday. Hoping some of this smoke cleats out by then. Also hoping clear lake isn't as bad.

After straining my back yet again by putting my spare on the roof, I built a fold down carrier. I really need to get my swing out built! One day.

Phone went dead shortly after "deflaming" the situation. No more pix. Something inside the burner came lose, I'm guessing, and propane accumulated.....BOOM! Also, just about 1 minute earlier the control knobs on the front caught fire. When I blew that out then the connector caught fire. So what does any sensible person do? Start taking pictures.
