    Too few to list.
20-23 hwy is pretty much the best the 4.0 can get and that's driving slow.
With the 4cyl, it's a little better but not by much.

I have never exceeded 20 point something MPG, even when trying. 14-15 in town, 16-17 combined, 18-20 highway if I don't go over 70 (rare to see 20).

Remember that when you go to 265/75-16 tires, your odometer will slow down ~3.5% and that will also make the mileage look worse than it really is! However, your speedometer will be spot on (as you probably know, it is factory tweaked to read a bit faster than you are really going with stock tires so you won't complain about getting tickets, when you put the 75 series tires on)!

Our trucks are not really known for mpgs. 3rd Gens in any configuration are slightly heavier than 2nd gens in similar configurations.

Yes, I know... this is my 3rd Tacoma 4x4 and I get them for reliability not fuel mileage. It would be nice to get 20 mpg more often, that's all.

How would you consider the noise on the X3 compared to a Duratrac? Do you have any pics of your tires? Thanks!

I haven't ridden in a vehical w/ duratracs in a few months, but I'd say the noise levels are fairly equal b/t the two tires.

Noise is a killer for me when the whine is so loud at highway speed that AC/DC cranked up is the only way to not notice it. That was the case with Cooper Discoverer STT tires for me (in 2006-2007). They looked great and were super in mud, never got a flat on them, lasted 40,000 miles (more miles than the other tires I have run). They just were too loud and did terrible in the sand, where I do most of my four wheeling.
